EU FP7 Project EDEN Progress

CBRNE Ltd is leading the SME Platform for Project EDEN and continues to make good progress. We now have 43 companies on the SME Platform, with 25 companies having submitted a total of 43 tools onto the tool template. From this information we have submitted reports to the Gap Analysis Report producer about which gaps could be filled by these tools. This information has also gone to the Work Package leaders for the Food, Chemical and Radiological demonstrators, so as they plan their demonstrations, they can see which tools are applicable to their project.

The Food Demonstrator, WP40, led by Technoalimenti is developing rapidly and is likely to consist of several demonstrators within the overall work package. As we get further information, we will be contacting individual SME Platform members about progress.

It is not too late to enter tools onto the template as, in the long term, the goal is to create an on-line catalogue of capabilities and technologies that can be accessed by end users and systems integrators looking for technologies to meet emerging requirements.

Don’t forget, even if your company is not selected for one of the demonstrators, there is still the opportunity to display at the CBRNE Fair in Brussels in late 2016, which will have the End Users platform in attendance, as well as a wider audience from EU Member Government agencies and others from outside of the EU.
