FP7 Project SUBCOP (Suicide Bomber Counteraction and Prevention) started in June 2013 and lasted for three years

SUBCOP set out to develop technologies and procedures that can be applied by the security forces when responding to a PBIED (Person Born Improvised Explosive Device) using less than lethal methods. The project coordinator was FOI (Swedish Defence Research Agency).

CBRNE Ltd led the End User Platform and produced a number of research papers on legal considerations in respect of the subject matter and ethical guidance documents.
